Internet and Connectivity

The internet is a global network connecting computers and devices. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, wired broadband, and mobile data. Being online allows you to browse websites, use email, watch videos, and connect via social media or video calls.

Types of Connections

Wi-Fi

Wireless network that allows devices to connect to the internet without cables.

Basic Usage

  1. Locate Network Name (SSID): On your device, go to “Settings” → “Wi-Fi.”

  2. Enter Password: Type in the Wi-Fi password; once connected, you can browse the internet

Ethernet (Wired Connection)

Physical cable connection offering stable and often faster internet access.

Basic Usage

  1. Plug Cable: Connect one end to your router/modem, the other end to your computer’s Ethernet port.

  2. Automatic Connection: Most systems connect automatically; if not, check your network settings for “Ethernet” or “Wired Network.

Mobile Data (Cellular Network)

Internet access provided by your mobile phone carrier (e.g., 4G, 5G).

  2. Use Data Wisely: Data plans can have limits; watch for usage alerts
